About Miss Wednesday
Miss Wednesday plays eco-folk-pop overflowing with optimism for the future. Modern flower-power meets catchy hooks and Joni Mitchell meets MIKA and Miss Wednesday meets you with open arms and the warmest smile you’ve seen. The wednesday born solo artist started the project in the singer-songwriter tradition and has gathered a playful band colored with acoustic guitars, organic sounds and trumpet sounds. The goal is that the lyrics may spread hope and comfort in the face of the climate crisis. You’ll get served colorful stage outfits, percussion instruments made of garbage and upcycled merchandise made from second hand t-shirts, old jeans and guitar strings. In the last year she’s played to a jumping audience at Vill Vill Vest, 100dagar, on a boat tour with Framtidshavet and the literature boat EPOS and at Vikedal Roots Music Festival. Within the summer of 2027 she will have released two new EP’s and the two first singles that have started this journey is called Golden Trash and Summoning. Next up is the first EP: Foreboding Tales and Egotistical Butterflies: Part I. Whether it’s live or recorded, in Miss Wednesday’s presence grey mondays turn into sunny wednesdays.
